Angela's musical training began with classical piano at the age of five and grew over the years to include studying and performing with violin, guitar and percussion instruments. Passionate about a variety of music, Angela has pursued the blending of vocal and instrumental sounds. She has organized, directed, arranged and scored music for several acappella groups in high school and college. Angela Aki harmoniously blends technical musicianship with amazing vocal talents. Angela Aki's debut CD; These Words is a collection of original music and lyrics that showcases her versatility and musical feel. Rock, pop, gospel, and alternative genres are woven throughout and tied together in a cohesive pattern with her unique touch. The songs are originals and the arrangements are nicely varied in style and texture. The lyrics are delightfully enigmatic, with several directly sharing her personal faith in Christ.
