Glenn Hansen was raised and currently lives in Long Island, NY. Glenn's been playing guitar for over twenty years with a brief excursion to pursue a career as a Customer Design Representative which was ultimately unfulfilling. With the support of his wife of 15 years Jo-Ann, He left that life behind and began the journey of an independent ministry songwriter and musician. Glenn writes all the lyrics for his music finding the whole process therapeutic. Glenn writes from his soul sharing his pains, fears, joys, sorrows and most importantly his beliefs and convictions. Lessons one learns through experience, and truths one learns through incessant questioning. "Truths that are not true just because I believe them. Truths that are true... and that's why I believe them." Glenn Hansen has crafted a fine tapestry of intricate songs focused on humanity's need for a Savior, aptly titled Him. Glenn has many varied musical talents which no doubt led to the nearly exclusive contributions to HIM. Glenn's excellent musicianship and strong lyrics are far from standard CCM fare. Glenn Hansen's music has been compared with such artists as  Sunny Day Real Estate, newer Pink Floyd and Porcupine Tree. Glenn Hansen's music challenges the listener as the songs themselves delightfully twist and turn with interspersed guitars and odd rhythms accentuated by John Gobin's (the only other contributing musician) understated drumming.
