Deana Mears is a Maryland native, is 17 years old and is currently based in Fallston. Deana has been singing since the age of four. Though she was raised in church, she didn't realize her need for a Savior until she was seven. Since that time it has been her great desire to use her lovely voice for God's glory and honor. Deana has three brothers and Jamin has co-written her first two original songs here in addition to his excellent guitar and vocal contributions. Some of Deana's musical influences are Jaci Velasquez, Rachel Lampa and Stacie Orrico. Deana has been performing in the Metropolitan area since 1998, has toured the Midwest and has shared the stage with such artists as Kelly Minter. A trained singer (3 years and counting of voice lessons), Deana is beginning to receive critical acclaim placing first in the regional "Gospel/Christian New Artist Showcase". Deana hopes to bring those that know Jesus closer to Him and share her faith with those that don't know Christ through her gift.
