Shannon Cutts is based in Houston, Texas and has loved music since her childhood. For years she was too shy to even dream of sharing her God given talent. Shannon has attended church her entire life but like so many, couldn't feel God's presence or understand His plan for her. After hitting bottom struggling with eating disorders, she asked God to help her with this problem that she couldn't possibly beat herself and show her why she was here on this earth. She began to experience healing in her body, in her mind and in her heart. In a profound display of God's loving generosity, an outpouring of musical inspiration came into her heart that signaled the healing of her deepest spirit. Once Shannon began to embrace the reality of a God who both loved her and wanted to express Himself through her, her music became joyful, her deepest meditation and contemplation of gratitude and Grace, and ultimately, her truest expression of her faith in the unutterably powerful healing Love that only God can offer. Modern Day Eve was born. She suddenly
found herself writing and singing and speaking of God's Love. For the past two years, Shannon has been working to produceher first CD project; Modern Day Eve, exploring Shannon's understanding and experience of Galatians 5:6 in her own life and in the lives of those around her. Shannon chose Modern Day Eve to proclaim we (as Christians) posess the keys of faith that can unlock the love in our hearts through the saving Love and Grace of our Savior, Jesus Christ..Shannon continually strives to foster 'a community of saints-in-progress' and to build the awareness that we are not alone in this world - we have God and we have each other. She seeks to bring the healing, unifying and uplifting power of music to all who will hear it, together seeking grace one song at a time.
