Pop-rock songstress Beki Hemingway made her debut performing for the neighborhood kids on top of garbage cans at the age of 5. A well traveled Marine brat, she soon learned to overcome shyness and feel comfortable in the spotlight. After several years of recording and touring with Mark Robertson's band This Train, Beki went out on her own and began wooing audiences in the Midwest with her vocal prowess and highly personal approach to songwriting. Her debut EP, now out of print met with critical acclaim and is now a cherished collector's item. Her first full length release Too Much Plenty is quite simply an amazing record. Dedicated to her craft, Beki performed over 150 shows last year sharing the stage with such artists as Pierce Pettis, VOL, Aimee Mann & Shawn Colvin. Beki has released her much anticipated third CD; Loss For Words showcasing her maturing songwriting and passionate, addictive voice.
