Jason Bedell is an Associate Youth Minister from Chesapeake, VA and is Memoirs From Yesterday. The name came from his personal journal; "Sometimes you need to go back and look at the memoirs from yesterday." The short-lived project came out of a frustatated need to express how Jason has grown and matured over the years. Memoirs From Yesterday is currently working on a full length, full band release. "All the songs are from personal experiences or from people I'm close to. I am not perfect and neither are the songs I write. The lyrics are heart felt and the emotion is genuine. I hope my songs are like a diary, telling where you have been, where you are, and ultimately where you would hope to be." Jason feels that God uses our lives in which He has blessed us with. Maybe we all need to take a look back at our "memoirs from yesterday..."
