Brian began playing music as the drummer in a Cincinnati based band called Promenade in 1992. Over the next few years brian tried so hard to cultivate his growing passion for all that was melodic and began to explore a new way of life and new forms of music in folk, acoustic and world music. In 1996 brian left Promenade and began writing more acoustic singer songwriter material. By 1999 brian had recorded and released debut CD; a simple, humble offering of authentic music entitled Seaside. With Brian's sophomore release; Some Sort of Static, there's definitive development from the ...Seaside days both musically and lyrically.  Scar on My Side and Dulce Maria utilize a full drum kit, bass guitar and all that; Here I Am and East to West feature cello; finally adding banjo on Usher in the Autumn and Campground Coffee and Folk Songs. "I hope to someday graduate to folk singer but right now I just play something near that on an acoustic guitar."    Brian Ferry promotional photo
