DAVE BEEGLE
Cornerstone
Magazine Stage - July 2nd, 2002
| To a musician
like Dave Beegle, the guitar is breath and blood and mind.
That can be the only explanation for the tremendous
output of this talented instrumentalist, composer and
producer. The place to start is with seminal Colorado
progressive rock band Fourth Estate which challenged and
expanded the boundaries of instrumental Rock 'N' Roll
with two albums of groundbreaking recordings and
countless jaw-dropping performances. But Fourth Estate is
only just the beginning for Beegle's seemingly boundless
musical ambitions. Beegle has also played extensively
with The Beegle-Olson-Quist Trio exploring the subtleties
of everything from Middle Eastern melodies to re-workings
of classic Led Zeppelin pieces in a flavorful acoustic-based
music. Beegle has also recorded with progressive techno/art
band, Artifact Symphony, and blues rockers Blinddog
Smokin'. You can also hear Beegle's guitar work on CD on
multiple studio projects. Add in Beegle's live work as a
solo acoustic artist as well as with classic rock group
the Jurassicasters, the Guitar Rangers and War Pigs, and
you're beginning to see the depth and breadth of this
active artist's experience. Beegle has also worked on the
other side of the recording console with Liquid
Playground, Kingdom recording act Marthas Wake and
Christian acoustic artist Danny Oertli. All of this makes
Beegle an indispensable resource for emerging musicians
and established performers alike. Beegle has proven to be
a virtuoso electric guitar player, spraying a thousand
notes over a wide variety of musical backdrops creating
exciting, inspirational music! In addition to his own
set, Dave sat in with Kemper Crabb and guested with Glenn
Kaiser and The 77's for some of the finest twin guitar
work ever heard! Listen to All The King's Men from "Cornerstone 2002" |
