This songwriter, multi-talented musician and producer has been an enduring part of the musical landscape for more than two decades. While well-known in contemporary Christian music circles for his own music, he has written songs for a wide spectrum of musical artists such as Julie Miller, Phil Keaggy and Mark Heard. If you hear a Hammond organ, there's a good chance you're hearing Phil, though he plays a wide range of instruments proficiently. From encouragement to biting wit Phil's emotions are laid bare without ceremony. While Phil stays firmly in the genre of the '70s oriented singer / songwriter style his music has gained a more exciting dynamic than ever. Phil Madeira was joined by some very talented friends Mike Roe (77's), Steve Hindalong (The Choir) & Jeff Elbel (Ping) for simply wondeful afternoon set this year at Cornerstone.
