The Huntingtons started in Baltimore in 1993 as The Crickets. Later taking the name of a nearby housing development, they recorded the first of 3 "garage band" albums peppered with Ramones covers in 1996. The Huntingtons write solid punk songs with plenty of hook, driving home powerful rhythms with strong vocals and maniacal energy. "Our relationship with Christ, we believe, is what enables us to be in a band... Most of our ministry comes from us personally, and not so much through the music. We'll talk to kids after the show and that seems to be a good way for us to tell people about Christ." Their live performances are known for their unrivaled fury and intensity. This year at Cornerstone was certainly no exception with sets on two stages - joined for this afternoon set of originals and Ramones covers with special guest vocalist Michael Knott.
