| Burlap To Cashmere is dedicated to creating
innovative and heartfelt music. In its' short life, the
band has been signed by A&M Records, developed a huge
grass roots following, released a live album, and
recorded its first studio album at the world famous Hit
Factory. The band has deep roots in folk and world music.
Simon & Garfunkel, Harry Chapin, and Cat Stevens are
some of the core influences on their song writing.
Combined with arrangements full of flamenco guitar, Afro-Cuban
rhythms, and old-world Greek bazouki music, a unique but
reminiscent sound is created. Now a four piece, Burlap To
Cashmere returned to the Main Stage for another energetic
and warmly received performance. |
